Installing a Ford Racing short throw shifter on the TC Motorsport's project 2007 Shelby GT500

One of our gripes of the GT500 is the rubbery and imprecise shifter. For the TC Motorsports GT500, they addressed this by installing the Ford Racing GT500 Short Throw Shifter. The upgraded shifter uses the same overall design of the stock unit, but includes urethane body vibration isolators and has a twenty five percent reduction in throw. The kit bolts into the same exact stock location and reuses the production shifter handle and knob. The GT500 shifter is part number M-7210-B in the FRPP catalog and retails for $205.00.
